How have the changes over the past year impacted your business?

The most important point is that the government has come to realize that the oil prices will not return to the old highs witnessed during 2009. The government has, therefore, prioritized infrastructure projects, reduced the budgets of existing/ongoing projects, and, has focused on key sectors while slashing non-essential projects. The reforms which have been introduced over the last two years have, in a way, cleared a market which was sprawling with unprofessional companies. >> more

.April.12,2017-SAWACO South Jeddah Corniche Plant (SOJECO)-Phase II Expansion Commissioned Successfully.
As demand for water in South Jeddah and in the Second and Third industrial cities of Jeddah (JIC2 & JIC3) increases , SAWACO started the expansion of Phase II of its SoJeCo plant and successfully commissioned the first Skid with a Capacity of 2,500 M3/day by SAWACO Engineering Team. The Second Skid expansion is currently under process (2,500 M3/Day) and ready for commissioning by May 1, 2017.
Mr.Nizar Kammourie , General Manager of SAWACO Water Desalination ,congratulated SAWACO Engineering Team on this milestone and stressed the importance of this day in the history of SAWACO.>> more

North Obhor Plant

SAWACO is a sea water desalination plant located in North Obhor in Jeddah approximately 45 km away from the city center. The size of the plant area is 14,400 m2 and it is composed of Water Desalination Plant production hall including offices, laboratory , control room, chemicals room, workshop and MCC& Electrical room. Adjacent to the production hall, lies the Power Generation House, Reject and Raw Water Tanks, 10,000 m3 Post Tensioned Reinforced Concrete Product Water Tanks, Water Filling Stations, Dispatch Office and the Guard House. The SAWACO Water Desalination Plant in North Obhor is in operation since December 2001, serving over 10,000 customers 24hr a day.... more

CROP is sea water desalination plant located along Corniche road in AI-Shate'e district in Jeddah. The plant consists of: reject tank, electrical and control rooms, two product water tanks with capacity of 2,000 meter cube, power generation house, Water filing stations, dispatch, and security room. South Jeddah Corniche Plant (SoJeCo)

SOJECO is sea water desalination plant located along Jeddah South Corniche and adjacent to JIC2 (Jeddah Industrial City 2) approximately 25 km from King Faisal Western Naval Base. The size of plant land is 22,000 m2 consisting of water desalination plant building including (reject, break tanks, 7 Ton overhead crane, electrical and control rooms), four product water tanks with capacity of 10,000 meter cube, accommodation building , power generation Plant, water filing stations, dispatch center, security guards Posts and parking lot. SAWACO Stores City Plant (SSCity) is located in the Chamber of Commerce Warehouse City in Al Khumrah, Jeddah. This is the newest location for SAWACO and is part of the company strategy to focus on dedicated water supply ventures.
SSCITY Started in 2016 with a modest Capacity of 1,000 M3/day to support SAWACO Customers inside the Warehouse City. Currently works are underway to expand the capacity to 5,000 M3/day along with a network to convey water for all users in the Warehouse City....more
