SAWACO's staff extended a warm welcome to the 40 college students and 6 scholars and provided RO technical lecture in plant premises.

Taif University awarded  SAWACO a complimentary Memento  as a gesture of appreciation.

This educational tour stressed   the importance of water in the prosperity  of our society and the need to preserve it. This message stands at  the very core of SAWACO's Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.

April9,10, 2017 - Baterjee Medical College- Jeddah , Students and Scholars Visited SAWACO as part of their Project study .

SAWACO's staff extended a warm welcome to the college students and scholars and provided an educational and technical lecture on the plant’s premises.
Mr. Kammourie , General Manager of SAWACO , stated that SAWACO will keep  opening its doors and facilities for Academic Institutions in Saudi Arabia and beyond to benefit from the array of water technologies that are in operation.

June 22, 2016 – Saudi ARAMCO Jeddah Training Center - ECO Team visited SAWACO North Obhur Plant.

As part of Saudi Aramco Jeddah Training Center - ECO Team "Water Conservation Campaign" summer Program, students and scholars visited SAWACO  North Obhur Plant.
SAWACO  Engineers explained to the visitors the  importance of Water Conservation, starting  with scarcity of water in Saudi Arabia  and the difficulty that is  faced to produce fresh water for potable use  and the amount of electricity consumed   to produce fresh water.

Finally, the students ended  their visit by a tour inside the plant to witness firsthand  the whole process of  desalination.

April 27, 2016, Uniliver Global team visited SAWACO's South Jeddah Corniche Plant (SOJECO) for  quality assurance verification  and auditing purpose.

The visit according to Representatives of Uniliver, was a fruitful one and ensured that SAWACO is maintaining the required high standards of Uniliver.

The visit was concluded on a very good note and some further recommendations were provided to enhance the cooperation between Uniliver and SAWACO.

March 9 and 10 , 2016 - Baterjee Medical College- Jeddah , Students and Scholars Visited SAWACO .

SAWACO  welcomed 16 students from Baterjee Medical college on 9 and 10 March, 2016.

SAWACO  Engineers gave them presentation, started with scarcity of water in our kingdom and the difficulty that we faced to produced fresh water for portable use , how much electricity we spend  to produce fresh water . Our engineers also, teach them the process of desalination started form beach wells going to our big Raw water tanks and passing through many stages of filters until reached our RO Membranes and how the membranes separate salt from water by Reverse Osmosis Technology . After that, our production Engineers show them how reject water was dispensed back to the sea by pumping it through reject pipe line deep in the sea in order to protect marine life from the environmental pollution . They also visited, our Laboratory and Chemist gave them small tutorial about our Chemical dosing system and sawaco standard compared with “ WHO “ and “ SASO “ standards and present to them our ISO certificates .

Finally, the students end their visit by a small tour inside the plant to see the whole process of the desalination and they became  aware to save each drop of water to prevent our kingdom from scarcity of fresh water .

October 14, 2015 - Jeddah & Riyadh Japanese School Delegation Visited SAWACO South Jeddah Corniche Plant .

In line with SAWACO's on-going CSR initiative regarding raising community awareness about the value of water, students and teachers from Jeddah & Riyadh Japanese School visited SAWACO South Jeddah Conrniche Water Desalination plant.

Mr.Nakamura and his team, from SAWACO's sister company Suido Kiko Middle East , explained the water desalination important in Saudi Arabia.

May 20 2015 -Kids Campus School Visited SAWACO North Obhur Plant.

In line with SAWACO's on-going CSR initiative regarding raising community awareness about the value of water, students and teachers from Kids Campus School visited SAWACO North Obhor Water Desalination plant.

Students were introduced to the world of Seawater Desalination showing them the effort it takes to transform sea water into pure drinking water.

Baterjee Medical College students and Scholars given an awareness lecture on Health and they conducted a medical check up for SAWACO staff.

December 9, 2014, A Delegation team from Luberef (Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company - Jeddah) visited SAWACO's South Jeddah Corniche Plant (SOJECO) for   quality assurance verification  and auditing purpose.

The visit according to Representatives of Luberef, was a fruitful one and ensured that SAWACO is maintaining the required high standards of Luberef concerning supply of boiler-feed  water to its refinery.

The visit was concluded on a very good note and some further recommendations were provided to enhance the cooperation between Luberef and SAWACO.

SAWACO stated that it was ready for new stringent requirement of Luberef regarding boiler-feed water where the new required conductivity should not exceed 5 micro Siemens. This is possible by employing CapDI units designed by Enpar Technologies of Canada.

This education tours on the importance of water in the life and progress of our society is the very core of SAWACO's Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.

Feb 9, 2014 - French International School Visited SAWACO North Obhur Plant.

In line with SAWACO's on-going CSR initiative regarding raising community awareness about the value of water, students and teachers from French International School visited SAWACO North Obhor Water Desalination plant.

Students aged between 8-9 years old were introduced to the world of Seawater Desalination showing them the effort it takes to transform sea water into pure drinking water.

July 18, 2012 - Japan Navy Training Squadron Visited SAWACO South Jeddah Corniche Plant.

200 Japanese naval officers visited SAWACO South Jeddah Corniche Plant - (SOJECO) . SAWACO Staff and Suido Kiko Japan team headed by Kasakura San welcomed the team and made a fruitful educational and interesting tour of our desalination plant SOJECO.

July 17, 2012 - Riyadh Japanese School Delegation Visited SAWACO North Obhur Plant

May 20,21-2012 -Ethiopian International School of Jeddah Visited SAWACO.

In line with SAWACO's on-going CSR initiative regarding raising community  awareness about the value of water ,students and teachers from Ethiopian School visited SAWACO North Obhor Water Desalination plant .

Production Shift Engineer Ahamed Al Harthi & other SAWACO's team members welcomed the visitors and presented  to the students and teachers the different departments of the desalination factory. A detailed presentation about the desalination process was undertaken by Eng Al Harthi.

April 10,2012- Kids Campus School Visited SAWACO .

Students from Kids campus school visited SAWACO –North Obhor  Water Desalination plant. As per International Primary Curriculum (IPC) ,Kids campus school selected SAWACO Water to start the study of their IPC theme Clean Water -Dirty Water .

The central theme of this unit is to investigate the sources of water , and to define what is clean water and what is dirty water in relation to different social and environmental circumstances and through a range of human activities.

March 14, 2012 -Al Aqsa School Visited SAWACO.

In line with SAWACO's on-going initiative regarding raising awareness about the value of water ,students and teachers from Jeddah Al Aqsa School visited SAWACO North Obhur Water Desalination plant . SAWACO's staff extended a warm welcome to the students and staff of Al Aqsa and provide an educational tour of the famous desalination plant premises.

March 11,12 & 13, 2012- SAWACO Visited by Ecole Francaise International de Jeddah.

 Students from French International School of Jeddah visited SAWACO –North Obhor  Water Desalination plant. The General Manager  of SAWACO  Eng. Nizar Kammourie and Heads of Departments welcomed and explained to the students  the desalination  process that converts sea water into potable water.

December 15, 2011, a Delegation from Sipco (Pepsico bottler in jeddah) visited SAWACO's North Obhor Desalination Plant(NODP) for quality assurance and auditing purpose.

The visit according to Jose Lorilla of Sipco was a fruitful one and ensured that SAWACO is maintaining the required tough standard of PepsiCo concerning supply of potable water to its bottlers.

The visit was concluded on a very good note and some further recommendations were provided to enhance the cooperation between Sipco and SAWACO.

October 26, 2011 -American International School of Jeddah Visited SAWACO.

In line with SAWACO's on-going initiative regarding raising awareness about the value of water ,students and teachers from AISJ visited SAWACO North Obhor Water Desalination plant .

October 12,2011 : SAWACO visited by The Delegation from China Water.

Mr.Wang Zhimin-Director General Research Center for policy and Technology , Office of the South -to-North Water Diversion Project Commission of the State Council headed the Delegation team..  SAWACO' North Obhor Plant  was chosen as one of the interesting sites to visit for this large delegation.

June 22, 2011 -Japanese School Visited SAWACO.

In line with SAWACO's on-going initiative regarding raising awareness about the value of water ,students and teachers from Jeddah Japanese School (JJS) visited SAWACO North Obhur Water Desalination plant . SAWACO's staff extended a warm welcome to the students and staff of JJS and provide an educational tour of the famous desalination plant premises.

May 3 & 4, 2011- SAWACO Visited by Dar Al Janna School.

Students from Dar Al Janna school visited SAWACO –North Obhor  Water Desalination plant. The General Manager  of SAWACO  Eng. Nizar Kammourie and Heads of Departments welcomed and explained to the students  the desalination  process that converts sea water into potable water.

This is part of SAWACO's commitment to raise awareness about the need to conserve water use  and its scarcity in Saudi Arabia in particular and the Middle East in General. There was of course leisure activities for the kids and interaction with the employees which made the entire program very interesting.

22 June 2010, SAWACO visited by Japanese delegation a group of bushiness people interest in invest in business in Saudi Arabia - Specially in water industry, they selected SAWACO as role model for the modern business in Saudi Arabia at North Abhor Plant..
